  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Turn your mixer on the lowest speed (so the dry ingredients do not blow everywhere) until the sugar and cocoa are absorbed by the butter. Increase mixer speed to medium and add vanilla extract, salt, and milk/cream and beat for 3 minutes. If your frosting needs a more stiff consistency, add a little more sugar. If your frosting needs to be thinned out, add additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time..

Very moist indeed the best chocolate cake i ever did, i got lots of positive feedback, i will be deleting every other chocolate recipe i have 🙂. We did not like this cake at all. It was very bland and not sweet or chocolatey at all. It raised very nicely and had a good texture but that's about all I could say about it.
